    The Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication will be closed Monday, Dec. 23 through Wednesday, Jan. 1. It will be open 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 2, Jan. 3 and Jan. 6 through Jan. 10. Greenlee computer labs will be closed during winter break. The office and labs will resume regular hours when classes resume on Monday, Jan. 13. Read More

    Manichanh Naonady (’19 journalism and mass communication) was selected as student marshal and will speak at the LAS 2019 Fall Convocation Ceremony. Naonady interned with the World Food Prize Foundation, reported on food science for the Iowa State Daily and served as editor-in-chief of Cardinal Eats magazine. Read More

  • Thanksgiving Break Computer Lab and Main Office Hours

    During Thanksgiving Break, Greenlee computer labs will be open Monday, Nov. 25, and Tuesday, Nov. 26, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours can be extended later if needed. Equipment checked out Friday, Nov. 22, will be due on Monday, Dec. 2. The main office, located in 101 Hamiton Hall, will be open Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Read More

  • Iowa State Daily receives top honors at national convention

    The Iowa State Daily won several awards at the ACP and CMA Convention in Washington, D.C. The wins included the Pacemaker Award, an honor given by the ACP to the top student newspaper in the country, and a third place finish for the CMA Pinnacle Award. Read More
