In his own words: After graduation, I started as the Nevada Bureau Chief for the Ames Tribune. I left in June 1982 for the Quad-City Times. In 1989, I joined Meredith Corporation, copy editing Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Publications for 5 years. I served as Editor in Chief of Meredith Interactive until 2006. I then joined Meredith Integrated Marketing (now called Meredith Xcelerated Marketing).
In 2009, I moved to Corporate Development, and I focused on digital acquisitions. In August of 2012, I joined Successful Farming as Editorial Content Director, and now oversee the editorial staff that creates content for 3 magazines (SF, Living the Country Life, and Ageless Iron Almanac); 4 websites; a weekly TV show; 2 radio programs; and 25 social media presences.
