In her own words:Based in Ames, I am the features editor of Meredith’s Traditional Home, and a columnist for The Dubuque Telegraph Herald. A playwright, poet and fiction writer, my work includes the plays "Mothering Heights" and "First Lady Lou," and the book That’s Our Story and We’re Sticking to It with Katherine Fischer.
