Sara Wyant, president and founder of Agri-Pulse Communications Inc., the nation’s largest communications firm focused on agricultural and rural policy issues, will present the 2018 William K. Deal Endowed Leadership Lecture Oct. 2 at Iowa State University. Wyant earned a degree in journalism and mass communications from Iowa State in 1980.

William F. “Bill” Tubbs, co-owner and co-publisher of the Eldridge North Scott Press and Wilton-Durant Advocate News and longtime supporter of journalism eduacation, will receive the Greenlee School’s 2018 James W. Schwartz Award. The annual award recognizes distinguished service to journalism and communication.
The Kerry & Linda Killinger Foundation has pledged a grant of $80,000 to support the 2019 Greenlee Summit, hosted by the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication at Iowa State University.
