Bio
Angelia graduated from Iowa State University with a BA in advertising and concentration in race, gender, and ethnicity in the media as well as a minor in sociology in 2012. Her 9 years of experience spans field marketing, digital marketing, ecommerce, business development, and content marketing in the luxury, health and wellness, and CPG industries in both the public and private sectors.
As a veteran of the KIND Snacks team, she contributed to the growth of the company from a grassroots startup to an international entity recently acquired by Mars, launching and managing multiple field marketing territories, product-line specific marketing strategies, and ecommerce programs throughout her years with the company. In late 2019, she co-founded Satellite Digital Marketing— a woman owned and operated marketing agency that specializes in providing accessible end to end digital marketing services to small businesses. In addition to her role as Director of Strategy, she currently sits on the board of directors for Helps Education Fund, a non-profit dedicated to ending educational inequity through research-based programming.
As a member of the Greenlee School Advisory Council, she most looks forward to helping forge relationships with out-of-state companies to provide additional opportunities for students and providing insights on how Greenlee can use academic programs to prepare students for socially sustainable careers that emphasize inclusion and representation in advertising.
