Anne is a freelance journalist and conversation facilitator. When at Alaska Public Media she created the "Solutions Desk," a reporting project that shifts the narrative beyond the state’s problems to examine what’s happening to solve them. She also developed, hosted and produced the award-winning conversation series "Community in Unity," which brought together people who wouldn’t normally interact for open dialogues about community-wide issues, such as incarceration, racial equity, and immigration. She spent this spring cycling across the United States to listen to and learn from everyone she meets and to eat copious amounts of new foods and sweets.
