Bio
Rob Yarin, VP of Content for Cox Media Group (CMG), oversees strategic content implementation for all of CMG’s media properties. Rob is responsible for CMG’s National Content and Distribution Center, Washington News Bureau and Digital Analytics teams. In addition, he leads a variety of CMG initiatives including OTT strategy and research.
Prior to CMG, Rob served as Executive Producer of NBC’s "Meet the Press" with David Gregory. Rob also was Executive Producer for "Hardball with Chris Matthews," "Race for the White House with David Gregory" and "Scarborough Country with Joe Scarborough." He was a Senior Vice President and consultant at Frank N. Magid Associates for 14 years. Rob was also part of the editorial management teams at television shows including the syndicated entertainment shows Entertainment Tonight and Extra. He started his media career in local TV news working as a producer at WLNE in Providence, KCBS and KNBC in Los Angeles, and WJLA in Washington, D.C.
Rob earned his BA in Political Science from Brown University in Providence and his JD from the University of Southern California Law Center in Los Angeles.
