Associate Professor Jay Newell reports that ThinkSpace is now fully in its second generation. He presented the new comment library feature during a recent CELT workshop. Newell’s ThinkSpace is diffusing through US universities, with University of Wisconsin Madison a recent addition.
In teaching, Ad Principles students met newly-named “Forbes 30 Under 30” marketing star Ty Stafford during a Wednesday Wake Up Call. “Ty encouraged students to work hard inside and outside class on communication projects,” Newell wrote. “Students also Skyped with Wieden + Kennedy’s Stephanie Montoya, now an account executive on the red-hot Chrysler account. Stephanie worked the students through the market segmentation of Dodge drivers—and showed spots that drill down to car buyers such as female muscle car enthusiasts.”
