Lucht to Present Paper at AEJMC, Publish Manuscript

Assistant Professor Tracy Lucht reports that her paper (co-authored with graduating master’s student Kelsey Batschelet) was accepted as a top paper for presentation by the History Division of AEJMC. The paper’s title is “‘They Couldn’t Bring Me Down’: Gender and Agency in the Careers of Midwestern Women Broadcasters.”

Also, her manuscript “‘Television’s Closet Revolutionary’: Mary Jane Odell and Her Fight for Public Affairs Broadcasting” (co-authored with former graduate student Chunyu Zhang, now a PhD student at Ohio Univ.) was accepted for publication in American Journalism.
