Associate Professor Michael Dahlstrom will be presenting a paper, co-authored with Sonny Rosenthal of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, titled “The Influence of Narrative Messages on Third-Person Perception,” at this summer’s annual AEJMC Conference in Minneapolis.
Dahlstrom also will be one of the guest instructors for The Center for Interdisciplinary Health Research’s summer school program entitled Social, cultural and communicative aspects of health research hosted by the University of Augsburg in Germany. Dahlstrom will be teaching a course in this program focused on health communication.
Dahlstrom is also one of the keynote speakers in the upcoming HealthNar Symposium entitled Advances in narrative health communication.
Dahlstrom also reports the publication of a research article, co-authored with Sonny Rosenthal of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, on the perceived impacts of using testimonials when communicating about climate change science. The article is titled, “Perceived Influence of Proenvironmental Testimonials,” and will be published in the journal Environmental Communication.
