The White House Historical Association in partnership with Iowa State University’s Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication and the White House Correspondents’ Association, have awarded student Cooper Pierce with the Hugh S. Sidey Scholarship in Print Journalism.
No one can accuse Natalia Rios Martinez of squandering her college experience. When she graduates from Iowa State in spring 2023, Rios Martinez will have completed three majors in political science, international studies, and public relations; studied abroad on three separate occasions; and presented compelling research at a national conference.
Madison Tuttle (‘18, public relations) is part of the public relations team educating and engaging the public about NASA’s Artemis I launch. On Nov. 16, Artemis I launched an uncrewed rocket to test capabilities to orbit the Moon and return to Earth.

During the summer 2022 semester, Iowa State University Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication Professor Daniela Dimitrova traveled to Vienna, Austria, for a Fulbright Fellowship. The University of Vienna hosted Dimitrova as Fulbright-University of Vienna Visiting Professor of Social Sciences.

The fall 2022 Jump-Start Internship & Networking Fair will be held virtually via CyHire on Oct. 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The fair helps students majoring in advertising, journalism and mass communication, public relations and related fields to build their personal network of local and regional employers and learn about internship and job opportunities.
